Welcome to the 2021 PLAN Virtual Statewide Conference

Pennsylvania CLE credits will be available to attorneys who actively participate in webinars and indicate their participation through polls displayed periodically during the webinars.

Marion Hoffman Fraley is Communications Director for Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP). She joined LASP in September 2017 as Communications Manager and became director in January 2021. She coordinates media relations, manages the website, implements LASP social media strategy, writes and edits monthly e-news; and develops the Annual Report and other publications; among other responsibilities. She was on the core planning team for LASP's first-ever gala, the Fête for Justice: 4 Freedoms, 4 Counties, 4 Justice on May 19, 2022 celebrating 20+ years as a regional program serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Previous roles included Director of Communications for The Haverford School; Publications Assistant at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, California; and state desk reporter and farm editor for the Marshfield News-Herald in central Wisconsin. In addition to covering four rural counties, she provided beat coverage of Marshfield schools and Board of Education, and the 38-member Marathon County Board of Supervisors. For two summers, she interned at her hometown weekly newspaper in West Salem, Wisconsin (formerly the La Crosse County Countryman, now the Courier). She volunteers as president of the North Penn Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.

Marion holds a B.A. in journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA), the Society for Professional Journalists (SPJ), and the Delaware County Press Club.
